Art Deco Garden
Frederick Street,
Cole Valley
This beautiful single family home is the only house on the block with a front yard and we wanted it to have tremendous curb appeal. Working collaboratively with landscape designers TZ Gardens, we presented several ideas to the client. A unique pattern of sharp, angular shapes inspired by the homes 1930's art deco architecture was selected for this custom trellis. The three towers reach seven feet high and were coated with a zinc galvanized spray, which offers a warm, non-glossy finish. This installation floats above the concrete border adding incredible details to the simple facade, concealing the homes down-spouts and cable wires as well as keeping wandering dogs out of the garden.

Rusty Trellis
Lyon Street,
Pacific Heights
This couple wanted a secure, but natural looking, enclosure for greater safety and privacy in their front garden. We designed this custom metal trellis to blend into the surroundings while serving these purposes. For a softer finish the metal was left uncoated and allowed to return to its natural rust colored state. This muted color and textured finish subtlety accentuate the surrounding garden.
