Ingenious Lounge
Castro Street
For this store, designer John McNamara used galvanized metal extensively to create an industrial feel. The strong metal work combines with a bright color scheme to create a fun, masculine environment. A hot-dipped galvanized metal finish was used to complete the dressing rooms, mirror frames, racks, and base plates. We also worked closely with the cabinet makers to fabricate metal covers for all the cabinets.

Benches, Handrails + Baseboards
Grasshopper Salon
South Park
Wood meets steel to create this exotic, Asian style salon. The salon used many raw metals for their handrails, gorgeous outdoor benches, and metal base boards. The focal point of this salon is the out door benches we used mild steel tubing and inlaid rich Costa Rican hardwood called ipe' to create a clean and comfortable design. Custom benches for the outdoor seating area and smoking lounge were built to compliment the building’s unique angles and carry out the Asian theme.

Storefront Signage + Flag Poles
Maiden Lane,
Union Square
Our clients provide us with their artwork and logos and we cut their custom designs into metal using a water jet. This sign is 1/4" thick brushed stainless steel. We wanted the signage to cast a strong shadow in order to give the facade of the storefront a life of its own. This effect was created by welding posts to the back of each character and mounting the letters ¾” from the face of the building.

Garage Renovation Header Brace

Stairs + Metal Stringers
De Haro Street,
Potrero Hill
This client salvaged a set of stair treads that he wanted to use for his home. The treads, made of very heavy metal grates, required a great deal of structural support. In order to shore them up we fabricated a 1/2" metal plate, tru-bolted it to the houses exterior and then welded on super strong and very thick mild steel stringers.
